The launch of POKEMON Go Gen 3 has been confirmed, where update this time covers the upcoming Halloween event.
It's been revealed that Niantic will launch at least some new Pokemon during upcoming Halloween events.
This is revealed through the wallpaper design found by the dataminers hidden in the latest Pokemon Go update.
But what this means is that we will only see the Gen Hero Gen 3 Pokemon launch in October.
Niantic has done similar things in the past, giving Gen 2 baby Pokemon first, before launching the full week list later.
Researchers have found plenty of evidence that Niantic is planning the launch of Gen 3 soon. And now more news has been revealed through the latest Pokemon Go update.
"This is happening - now we have almost all Generation III files needed in APK! We have done the data quickly and our guess has been confirmed: Gen III Pokémon audio clips is now in APK, but more importantly ... Gen III will come on this Halloween, "PoGo's team explained.
"As a bonus, new Badge entries added refer to the entry of Gen 3 Pokédex, the new Halloween 2017 loading screen and support for evening music in the added Halloween night game.
"You can see a screenshot of the code and wallpaper below, and yes, Gen III will come for Halloween, just like the one on the new loading screen.
