Nintendo Switch Update 4.0: New Features - You Need To Know This

The Nintendo Switch console has just got a new update along with new features that will make gamers very happy.

This update could be your reason to buy Nintendo Switch. And if you already have the latest Nintendo gaming console, it will be much better.

Version 4.0 of the console operating system was launched this week and with it comes a number of important new features that have been waiting for gamers Nintendo switch from the first.

Nintendo Switch Update 4.0: New Features - You Need To Know This

1. CAMPUS RECORD Game

The previous Nintendo Switch feature may only capture images in the game, but this new update will allow gamers to record video clips from their experiences.
By holding the button below the Switch button pads, the device captures the last 30 seconds of gameplay in the editable video.

2. DATA TRANSFER BETWEEN CONSOLES

If you've shared a Nintendo Switch with siblings or friends and now have your own console, it's now possible to transfer all your users and store data to the new device.

"Transferring user information and storing data lets you move user profiles and store related data and purchase Nintendo eShop from one Nintendo Switch console to another Nintendo Switch console," explains Nintendo.
"Data is moved by one user at a time, meaning you can select which user data you want to move and which user data you want to store in the source console."
The entire process can be completed in 10 easy steps, which is an outline on the Nintendo site.

3. PRE-ORDER / PRE-LOAD GAMES

Nothing is worse than waiting for months to get the video game out and then wait longer to load it into your system before you can play.
Understanding the frustrations caused by this, Nintendo has made it possible to pre-pay and pre-load games before release.
Take Super Mario Odyssey for example. The game is scheduled for release on October 27th, but if you buy it from Nintendo's online shop before this date, it will be downloaded and ready to play once it goes on sale to the public.

4. RECENT NEW USER ICONS

Everyone loves the ability to customize their profile even further and this new update brings more opportunities.
Users can now choose from 12 new Super Mario travelers and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of wild icons for their user profiles.
While only a few changes, more options are always welcome additions.

5. SUPPORT FOR HEADSET USB WIRELESS

It may not be a feature that is not listed in the official change list, but some Reddit users have found that the update comes with support for USB devices.
All you have to do is plug the dongle of the device into the Switch, and you'll see a new volume slider - this will only work when the console is anchored.
You can use this feature when the Switch is grasped by plugging the receiver into a USB-C adapter.
